Bored Pile

A reinforced concrete foundation pile constructed in the ground to transfer loads to deeper, load-bearing soil layers.

A bored pile is a deep foundation element made of reinforced concrete, installed by drilling into the ground. They are used when upper soil layers lack sufficient bearing capacity. In Berlin, bored piles are common in areas with soft or waterlogged soils.
