Firmly bound asbestos cement costs 150–250 €/ton for disposal. Loosely bound asbestos costs 250–500 €/ton due to higher hazard classification.

A garage roof (20 m² Eternit) costs 1,200–2,000 euros. A single-family home roof (120 m²) costs 5,000–8,000 euros. Complete home asbestos remediation ranges from 10,000–25,000 euros.
Legal Requirements
Only certified companies (TRGS 519) may perform asbestos work. Work must be reported to the LAGetSi Berlin at least 7 days in advance.
